The program awards up to 100 high-achieving students every year with full funding to pursue a graduate education at Stanford, including the terminal Master's and PhD in History. To be considered, you must apply to Knight-Hennessy Scholars by October 9, 2019, and separately apply to the History department by December 3, 2019.
Ph.D. students register for 10 units in each of the autumn, winter and spring quarters. Most courses offered by the department for Ph.D. students are 3 units, including the core courses of the first year program.
